Quotes:
"The trouble with the world is that it's always one drink behind."
Completed in May 2001, this oil painting was my first monochromatic piece. It was a pleasant change to work on a tonal study, and seemed appropriate for a star of Hollywoods Golden Age.
This piece is 53cm x 65cm, my largest canvas so far. I would have preferred a less square field to work in, but I am pleased with it all the same. (It has been cropped here)
